I Almost Had Them |

I was sooo close. I got all the details ironed out for my upcoming booksigning at the Shepherdsville branch of the Bullitt County, KY library on Sat., July 19. Then the brilliance hit: what if I could make it a campaign stop for one of our local, or even national, politicians?
I was soon on the telephone with Sen. Mitch McConnell's office, and also former Rep. Anne Northup, who is challenging Democrat John Yarmuth for her old job back. How awesome would that be to have them both at my book signing? Words could not explain.
Unfortunately, despite some calendar wrangling, details could not be worked out. However, I plan to try and get some local politicians to see the benefit of making an appearance at the local library between now and then.
Oh well, we'll keep pushing!

Mr. Right Opinion to be Focus of Local Newspaper |

OK, so maybe "focus" is a bit strong, but I am going to be interviewed by the Pioneer News on Wednesday. The Pioneer News is the local paper for Bullitt County, KY.
If you would like to see the interview online, I'll let you know if it will appear on their online edition. If so, I'll post the link for you here.

FINALLY IT'S HERE!!! |

Well, today, May 17, 2008, is a VERY BIG DAY! For it is on this day that the course of American history shall be altered forever! (OK, so that was a bit dramatic. But it is a pretty big day).
My book, "Mr. Right Opinion-Unplugged and Unashamed" becomes available to the general public. It can be purchased at its own website, http://www.51756.authorworld.com/.
It will also soon be available at your favorite online retailer; Amazon, B & N, and so forth. Please help me make the book at least pay for itself and get your own copy.
It really will be a source of enlightenment for the newcomer, and as one of my reviews states, will reaffirm what you, as a political junkie or a complete novice, believe to be great about America.
I appreciate everyone's support through the years, and I hope that you, especially during one of the most important elections of our lifetime, will benefit from the knowledge and insight this book brings to the table.
I hope that it will serve as a source of inspiration for you as we struggle within ourselves to decide who will become the next leader of the free world.

Well, it has been somewhat of a grueling process trying to get the finishing touches put on my first book that I've ever published. However, we are getting so close that I can almost smell the book binding glue.
From the latest I've heard, the book should be ready to print in about two weeks, barring any unforeseen circumstances. From that point on, it will be available at this website, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, as well as many other online booskellers.
However, just fair warning, if you buy it straight from the source (here in other words), you can save a couple of bucks.
Also, tune into the Mr. Right Opinion and Nedd the "Stop the ACLU guy" radio show on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:-3:00 p.m. eastern. You'll find it at: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Mr-Right-Opinion.

In keeping with my mission of trying to turn every American toward my way of thinking, I have decided to start a radio program. It will be hosted by yours truly Michael A. Minton (a.k.a. Mr., Right Opinion), and my dear friend, the founder of the National Stop the ACLU committee, Mr. Nedd Karieva.
It will make for some interesting conversation, I’m telling you! The show will run on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 1:30 p.m. eastern until 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon.
Obviously, we are inviting conservatives authors and other guests to appear. However, we also want to invite those of you with differences in opinion, too, for some clean, honest intellectual debate.
